How & Why I became a muslim?

The story begins way back in 1982 when I first got to know my husband.  We were studying in the same college.   I will often be seen playing volleyball, badminton, ping-pong or tennis.  Yes, I was very active indeed cos I felt that by doing so, I can use my time wisely & I will not be bored staying in the hostel the whole day.

One evening, as usual I went down from my hostel to enjoy my evenings with some games. It was always my first choice to go to the volleyball court & I will normally be accompanied by Yap.  Nevertheless, on the fine evening, Yap did not turn up.  That leaves me, the only female player among all the men malay players.  The game was about to start when one malay college mate told me to get out of the court.  He did it in  a very course way, which definitely made me stamped out of the court & sat right beside my husband, Nif, who was watching the us all the while.  Somehow or other, I told him, "Tengoklah kawan awak tu, dia halau saya dari gelanggan.  Saya nak main pn tak boleh."  On hearing my complain, Nif took the opportunity to explain to me some of the dos and don'ts of Islam & of course, some of what he said made me ponder about what I did.  As I looked at the court once again, then did I realize that I was the only female player if I were to continue playing in the court.  Still I could not see where my fault was in wanting to play with everyone.  My world view is only a game where gender does not come into consideration.

So much for the volleyball court first getting to know session with Nif.  A few days later, we had a short briefing at the hall & everyone had to attend.  One of my seniors, PP, told me to look at Nif & she drew his portrait & showed it to me as she said, "handsome guy."  I agreed with her but just brushed off the whole thing.  Somehow or other, when I next went to the volleyball court, I could see that there were other female malay players playing in the court & I was so happy to join them. This time, I realize that Nif was at the court almost most of the evenings & we managed to have a few threads of chit chatting.  The normal chit chatting went on at the courts (at which ever court I was, he was there...."ada udang di sebalik batu").

One evening, after dinner, I went out to the fruit stall just right outside the college to buy fruits as usual with a friend.  At the stall, Nif was there sitting and waiting (he must have known that I often the stall after dinner.) When I stopped to buy some cut pineapples, he said, "Demo nok tok sih kito?" & I said, "Tok sih", he said, "Dalam bahasa Kelantan, Tok sih bermakna nak, sih bermakna tak nak" & of course I replied, "Sih2" & walked away with my friend but managed to hear the stall owner and the rest giving out a loud laugh. I brushed everything away & walked off.  The whole conversation went on for a few times and some how or other we became close friends.(so the conversation became a prayer come true.)

Nif taught me a lot of things about Islam, which I did not know before.  One evening, as usual, I went to the fruit stall after dinner.  As I was eating my fruit, I saw a group of muslim girls walking in a row, with the white prayer gown.  It was a bizarre sight for me.  Some how other the "nur"(light) was there.....the whole group of girls looked like shinning bright lights to me....it was a beautiful sight....which I can never forget.  The captivating sight will remain in me forever & I thank Allah that He had chosen me out of the many around me.

Allah Al-Alim.....Al Basir...... As-Sami'....Al-Muhsi....Al-Adl

Allah Al-Alim means Allah the Al-Mighty knows all.  Al-Basir, He sees all.....As-Sami', He hears all.....Al-Muhsi, He enumerates(counts the list)..........Al-Adl, He is fair.........

My point for the day is just to share to whoever reads this blog that Allah knows, sees, enumerates whatever we do & He judges us fairly.......

Sometimes we may be the victim of a situation & the above names of Allah the Al-Mighty is the best answer for us to be patient with what we are going through.  I found out that most of the time when I'm too nice to people around me, they will most of the time take that as an opportunity.  Yes, people can take advantage of others to get what they want, but mind you....that is just to a certain extent because everyone has limited patience. Yet the objective of the actions should be taken into consideration.  I would not for the least mind if the objective is for the better of everyone, but the feeling of being cheated when the final profit goes only to the person involved....so goes the Malay proverb..."Habis madu, sepah dibuang"....meaning that when the person gets what he wants, he will just forget about you.  In other words, you are not important to him anymore or you do not even exist.  I wonder what awaits this kind of people when judgement day arrives.  Remember, Allah knows all, sees, hears, enumerates & He is fair about all things.

Just to connect the name of Allah as all knowing, sees, hears, enumerates & fair, the story begins with a person who made a fool of herself by trying to get two persons to take care of her at one shot....I wonder whether this should happen as  a female human cos when we compare human to animals, we are highly uphold by Allah as the Khalifah of the earth & given better thinking compared to animals.  Take for example my cat, Pussy.....it gave birth to 4 kittens, 2 of which has her fur, 1 was black all over & the other was a mixture of white & black.  At first I did not bother about that, but one day I saw two male cats at my house....one was black all over & the other was black & white....I could recognize the black & white cos it is just like one of Pussy's kitten; which I called Batman because of the black patch on both eyes.....& I thought for a moment.....Oh! Pussy mated with more than one cat!  How different animals and humans are.

Allah made Hawa (Eve) for Adam, ....mind you, there was only one Adam for one Hawa, but not two Adams for one Hawa....if not we will be comparatively the same as Pussy above!  That is the difference between humans and animals.  Let us all abide by the law of Allah, so that there will be peace and harmony in our journey of life.  Whatever steps or decisions that we make, we must always remember that we are the Khalifah that Allah had placed on earth & we should play our role well so that others will see us as good examples of servants of Allah.

Pussy will not feel cheated for sure, but humans will.  Nevertheless, if the case of Pussy is put into the story of a human being, she is at the loosing end.....yet was that in mind when the action was taken??  You tell me.  So be it....cos Allah knows all, sees all, hears all, enumerates and He is fair....in whatever we do, the twists and turns cannot and will not be a secret to the Al-Mighty & this is what I am delighted about, for now, you may be seen as the winner & you may get all the satisfaction you want, but remember well that Allah is always by the side of those who are the victims & their prayers will be accepted by HIM....InsyaAllah.

What is Typhonium Flagelliforme/Rodent Tuber/Keladi Tikus?

Typhonium Flagelliforme (Lodd) BL is the scientific name for rodent tuber in English or keladi tikus in Bahasa Melayu. It is also known as Tu Ban Xia or Lao Shu Yu in Chinese. It is categorized as an araceae plant that only reaches a height between 25cm to 30cm only. It grows typically in a moist habitat and should be kept from direct sunlight. The green leaves are round and pointy at the end form like a betel leaf shape. Typhonium flagelliforme / Keladi Tikus is a herbal plant grows in East Asia. Usually people around this area use these plants as a traditional medicine in their daily life.

Is TYPHONIUM FLAGELLIFORME (RODENT TUBER / KELADI TIKUS) the best alternative cancer treatment?

Typhonium flagelliforme (keladi tikus / rodent tuber) was discovered by a professor from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Chris K.H. Teo. which is also the patron of the Penang Cancer Care in Malaysia. He found from a research conducted since 1995 on the crop appears to successfully overcome the problem of cancer. As of August 1998, he has successfully helped more than 800 local and foreign patients, including New Zealand, America, India, Indonesia and Australia.

…Until now (August, 1998) this herb have been proven in helping 800 local and outside patients, including those from New Zealand, USA, India, Indonesia and Australia.”- Prof. C Teo KH., USM, Penang

Another person who has also conducted a research on the Typhonium flagelliforme (keladi tikus / rodent tuber) is Mr Lai Choo Sheen from Medicine Research Center, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He found that Typhonium flagelliforme (keladi tikus / rodent tuber) contains fitol which serves as an anti-cancer substance.

There are also reviews from Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta Indonesia that Typhonium flagelliforme (keladi tikus / rodent tuber) is able to prevent the development of cancer cells by cutting the DNA chain of cancer cells.

In general, Typhonium flagelliforme ( keladi tikus / rodent tuber) contains detoxification agent which helps to clean toxins and improve our digestive systems in the body, improve blood circulation and restore the resilience of the missing anti-body.

A female engineer of the JKR headquarters in Kuala Lumpur had spinal cancer, had been undergoing chemotherapy treatment , her body was weak, thin and her hair had fallen entirely. She was taking this herb for several months, she finally recovered- her hair grew back and she returned to work as usual.

A teacher has found herself jaded and lifeless. After a medical examination, they found a small bulge in her breast, and doctors suspected it was a starting point of breast cancer. She took two bottles of “Keladi Tikus ”capsules for the first trial. After taking few capsules for couple of weeks, she felt better and most remarkably, the cancer tumor was shrinking, and now she is back and is happy to teach as usual.

Scientifically, researchers have found three major substances in the Typhonium flagelliforme ( keladi tikus / rodent tuber) plants are: -

1. Ribosome inacting protein (RIP)
Functioning as an agents of weakening growth of cancer cells, kill the cancer cells without disturbing the surrounding system and prevent cancer growth.

2. Anti-oxidant agent
Functioning as an agent to prevent the occurrence of genetic damage

3. Curcumin agent
Function as an anti-inflammatory agents or anti-inflammation.

Combination of this three substances, enable to develop the mediator that stimulates strong body immune system that’s work together to fight cancer cells.

In addition to these three substances, it also contains high essential amino acid known as Arginine. In the normal growth of animals, plants and microbes, Arginine works as agents that sustain normal metabolism and propagation of cells.

ANTIDOTE FOR CANCER

I was made known about a type of capsule called Rodent Tuber/Keladi Tikus 3 years ago by a friend whom i happened to meet when i was picking up my children after school.  At that time, i told myself that this is just another business affair & pushed the whole thing away.

However, something happened in December last year (2010)....a friend of my contracted the frightening fatal disease, the deadly cancer.  She decided to undergo an operation & did it somewhere around March 2011 and the disease was at stage 3.  Before the operation, I surfed the website in search for details and info about the Keladi Tikus/Rodent Tuber.  To my surprise, I found quite a big amount of report & testimonies about this little herbal plant.  I found out that the antidote not only cure the disease, it also helps to prevent hair fall during chemotharapy.

One day, before my friend went for her first chemo session, she came to school to get her sick leave.  She was about to leave the school compound when I ran up to her and told her about the Keladi Tikus capsule on sale in the market & that I am willing to help her to get the capsules.  I sincerely told her that I want her to know about what I've read and that I will not be at peace if I've not told her about the existence of such medication. To my surprise, without thinking any further, she asked me to buy her the capsules & i did.

My friend took the capsule after the 1st chemo sessions & continue until the 3rd chemo session.  I went to visit her on 16 May 2011, that was about two weeks ago & I saw that she was radiant healthy.  She even showed her hair & I could see that most of her hair was still intact.  My friend told me that she saw others who had undergone the 3rd chemo & they were all bald!....I was much delighted and started posting this positive effect on my friend after taking the Keladi Tikus capsules as an effort to tell people that there is actually a cure for cancer.

Nevertheless, when I posted the website of the Keladi Tikus capsules (for the sake of those who wanted to buy the medication), some people misunderstood that I am a stockist...in which I'm not.  Only Allah knows that I'm doing this for the sake of humanity.

(sob! sob! people can't see how sincere I was.....but whatever it is, I pray that people who are searching for this antidote (especially for those who are living in Malaysia).....will be guided by Allah the Almighty to see this blog cos I'm attaching the website here for u people out there who need it....& I personally recommend it to u if u are a cancer patient.  I was told that this capsule could be taken as a supplement especially for those who have parents with this deadly disease as an early step of prevention.

Hence, I end up my sharing with the phone number that I've with me when I ordered the capsule for my friend for the ease of those who need it.

Teachers' Day 2011

so it's 16 May again.....emmm....and teachers have sacrificed much for their students....students had stolen a committed teacher's time with his/her family, students had made their teachers gave out loud warnings for not finishing their homework, naughty students had given much headache to teachers who love them for what they are......students had stolen their teachers' patience.....

teachers are honest with their sacrifices, teachers teach students as their own children, teachers forget about themselves more often than thinking about what they could do to help their students....teachers....u r wonderful in many ways.....but u r always forgotten in many ways too.....

so the thought of heavenly rewards keeps the teacher going until the last day of school for him/her.....

so, i,m now a granny of a grandson...ahaks!...a granny young at heart...haha...a granny who is ict competent...(i'm proud of this...aha...i can still catch up with the ever changing world...& will always be..)
my elders and second son are teaching....my third is still in the teacher's college, my 4th: daughter is also in a teacher's college, my 5th: daughter is sitting for her SPM & my 6th: daughter is sitting for UPSR.....a double exam year for me...huhu...

but i strive on...because i believe in the Al Mighty Allah and He had never for once forsaken me and my family....YES! I have proven to my family in Taiping that i left them for the better and not for the worse....Alhamdulillah.....

another day

so......it was a long fullstop.....yes....emm....

well, i was in deep thinking about communication....a two way communication could be in the form of body language, oral expressions, in writing or a combination of all these.....it came to my thought that how much facebook had done its job in comunication.....people from all over the world, long lost friends, relatives and families got together to chat and exchange ideas.

i was deeply involved in this social website and i finally got a conclusion that not all i felt or the other party felt could be written using the best words or in the most proper way that could help us to communicate our feelings in the most specific way.....some people say that words can express our feelings....for now i wonder if it is true because i found out that getting to understand a person in words is not an easy thing to do and that behind the words themselves are lots of underlying meanings and feelings that sometimes neither the reader or the writer himself/herself could understand....and most of the time, it happens especially when someone is in distress though.....emm....yes, diction is so crucial when we write.

so much for facebook and its amazing technology that gives us a chance to keep in contact with our loved ones...but be very careful of our words!!! Yes! Words are weapons either for defense or destruction.!!!!!  Coz sometimes words are meant for good but they turn evil when they are read with negative feelings.....

SCARY~~~~~ ISN'T IT????
