MY DEAR DAD

I received a call from my youngest sister telling me that dad was not conscious that morning. It was devastating for me to go through all this....yet i've to stand up and face the truth of a life cycle...all that lives will have to die one day.

On my way home on Tuesday & with tears in my eyes, I asked myself some questions:

1. Have I ever fed my father with my own hands?....Yes, I had.
2. Have I ever washed his dirty plates?..............Yes, I had.
3. Have I ever washed his dirty clothes?.............Yes, I had.
4. Have I ever bought food for him?..................Yes, I had.
5. Have I ever clean him up?.........................Yes, I had.
6. Have I ever massage him?..........................Yes, I had.
7. Have I ever put him first with my holidays?.......Yes, I had.
8. Have I spent quality time with him when i go home?Yes, I had.
9. Have I make drinks for him?.......................Yes, I had.
10. Have I helped to throw away his urine?............Yes, I had.
11. Have I helped to clean his room?..................Yes, I had.
12. Have I sent home money for his use monthly?.......Yes, I had.
13. Have I ever rushed home to see him when he was not well?...Yes, I had.

......just that? 13 items?...for a father who took care of me for so many years until I could stand up on my own two feet?....How ungrateful I am!....
